hello everyone
L'exo N° 130149 It is .../ It was ..
Could you, please, explain these sentences
I don't understand why we use HIM, HER, US... pronom personnel complément
whereas we use I ( pronom personnel sujet ) instead of ME
I have to promote the project. It is I who has to promote the project. why not ME?
She didn't do the job well. It was her who didn't do the job well.
He came too late. -> It was him who came too late.
We put in a lot of effort in the project. It was us who put in a lot of effort into the project.
I tidied up the room, not my sister. -> It was I who tidied up the room, not my sister. Why not ME?
Thanks a lot

Bonjour
Cette demande me rappelle le langage populaire de Manchester où l'on disait :
It was ME did it à la place de : I did it, I accentué pour dire : C'est moi qui l'ai fait !
C'est un peu comme les compléments de comparatif : He is better than I am devenant he is better than me.
Effectivement, le I noble semble avoir survécu dans it was I who did it mais me est très utilisé en langue populaire.

It was I who tidied up the room, not my sister or
It was me who tidied the room, not my sister
Une langue vivante évolue mais si l'on e un examen à l'écrit, est ce mieux I or ME?
Thanks a lot
