Good morning,
I'm reading " the firm " by John Grisham and I came across this sentence :
"... He detailed play by play the first Tarrance visit at Lansky's Deli on Union, the warnings about whom not to trust and where not to talk..."
I don't understand why -here- "about" is followed by an infinitive phrase instead of a noun verbal( gerund)

Je pense que l'on peut dire "He detailed ... the warnings about not trusting unknown people and not talking in shifty places (dans des endroits louches)", mais, dans votre phrase, il y a "whom" et "where" qui doivent forcément venir juste après "about". On ne peut pas dire "
